*Ingredients:
°1 1/4 C. old fashioned rolled oats
°1/4 cup milk
°1 lb ground beef
°2 large eggs, beaten
°1 package dry onion soup mix
°1 clove garlic, minced
°1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
°3 tablespoons ketchup
°1/2 tsp. pepper
+Garnish
°1/4 tsp ketchup
°1 C. Worcestershire sauce
°1 C. mustard
* Methods
Put the rolled oats in a large bowl and add the milk. Stirring to coat oats and let sit for about 15 min to soak up milk. Add ground beef, eggs, onion soup mix, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and pepper. Use your hand and mix everything together, working the oats into the meat.
Time everything , placing it in a 9 x 9 pan and form aloaf about 1 & 3/4″ thick. Place in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the filling by whisking the ingredients together. After 30 minutes in the oven, remove and brush with the filling and coat the sides as well. Return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing
