Smothered beef

 



*Ingredients


* 2 eggs

* 1 can cream onion soup

* 1 water bottle

* ½ onion, chopped

* 1 tablespoon beef stock powder

* 2 pounds lean ground beef

* 1 teaspoon garlic powder

* Salt and pepper to taste

* ½ tsp Italian season

* 2 slices of bread, finely diced


Instructions


FIRST STEP:

In a bowl, scramble the eggs

Combine broth powder, onion and salt and pepper

SECOND STEP:

Soak the bread in the liquid

Add the meat to the bowl, kneading the mixture with your hands until well blended

THIRD STEP:

Shape meat mix to 8 equal sized patties

Place the patties in a pan and cook for 4 minutes on each side

FOURTH STEP:

Removing from pan and set apart for a some minutes

In same skillet, adding soup mix, water also Worcestershire sauce and blend well

FIFTH STEP:

Return the patties to the pan, lower the heat to simmer, cover the pan and simmer for 30 minutes

Removing from heat and letting stand for 5 min. Serving with sauce on top of steak.
