Smothered Chicken

This scrambled chicken recipe is made with fried chicken breasts in a delicious broth with crunchy bacon.

* Ingredients :

° 2 pounds chicken wings

° 2 T butter

° 2 tons of wheat flour

° 6 c chicken broth

° 1 teaspoon bouillon cubes

° 2 teaspoons salt, pepper, garlic and onion, celery salt

° 1 ton canola oil

Optional (1/2 cup mushrooms, celery, onions)

* Directions :

1. Season the chicken with a teaspoon of the seasoning. Toss to coat.

2.Pour oil to large saucepan on medium to high heat. Brown chicken on all sides about 7-8 min. Sit apart .

3. In the same pan, remove the plate from the pot by scraping the small bits from the bottom. Add butter and flour to make a roux. Whisk until caramel color, 4-6 minutes. (If using celery and onions, add them here and cook for an additional minute)

4. Add the remaining broth and spices. Whisk again until the sauce thickens a little. Add 1/3°C of water to dilute if the broth is too thick.

5. Add the chicken back to the skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low. Cover and let simmer for 30-45 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked.

Enjoy !
